The Ace cafe plays host to a couple of tipper lorries on a summer’s day in the 1950s. The newer “Parrot Nose” Dodge contrasts with the elderly Bedford O type but basically they do the same job day in day out until completely worn out, only then will they depart to their final resting place in some scrapyard to rust away to dust.
