THIS PAINTING IS SOLD.
Plymouth Corporation buses were red and cream – but what a red, it always seemed brighter than most and high standards of maintenance meant they were always clean and tidy. The hilly nature of Plymouth was demanding of buses but Leyland’s powerful 9.6 litre and synchromesh box were up to the job and their lively performance was a joy to hear.
A painting like this of your favourite vehicle, British or American in acrylics on A3 heavyweight water-colour paper would cost £500.

Nice one again Mike. – Ted
I lived in Plymouth just after the war until I was eight and these buses certainly made a lasting impression, thank you Ted.
