THIS PAINTING IN ACRYLICS ON A3 SIZE WATER-COLOUR PAPER IS FOR SALE AT £350. E-MAILmike@transportartist.co.uk FOR DETAILS.
A vehicle which perhaps more than any other typified the first decade of British Road Services was the Leyland Octopus 22.01, this example being in service based at Scunthorpe for many years. Power came from Leyland’s 0.600 9.8 litre diesel engine mated to a five speed constant mesh gearbox and double drive rear bogie. Many early examples survived to be re-cabbed to soldier on to a second life, a testament to the longliveity of the chassis and its sound design.
A painting like this of your favourite vehicle, British or American in acrylics on A3 heavyweight water-colour paper would cost £500.
This original is for sale at £500 +p&p.
