My Response: Because America wont say no!
The real question is why is america afraid to rely on itself and use the technology we already have to make all vehicles electric/solar powered , and build more electrical /solar plants instead of relying on and being victims to these countries who hold us hostages for their oil!
2nd Rant:
Why does florida raise beef then send it to texas and have texan meat ship here, how freakin stupid is this state and the other states who do this, and then everybody wonders why meat prices are so high and will shoot up even higher now that gas prices went up. Every state THAT CAN should raise there own cattle and slaughter for their own state! We’d save a fortune in gas, trucking, packing, refrigerant etc…

And who the heck does Edy’s (Dreyers west coast) think their kidding! They made the ice cream cartons smaller and chrg the same price…. Im really pissed off at that scam! And i see alot of products suddenly doing this, christ i want the same amount if ya gotta charg me more then do so, but dont scam me into a smaller amount for the same cost!

Dont know how true this is, but heard oil companies have been known to buy patents in areas of alternative technology ?? This came from a story i heard that a scientific researcher took early retirement, after this happened in their line of work, so saw no point in carrying on.

Exactly, it is a saddened fact, that people value money more than enviromental, and ecological preservation. This is how these oil companies stay alive and get away with murder, they seek all technology that can put them out of business and hope it squashes the competition. Humans can be so gullible and those that want success in protecting the earth and resources havent the means, its such a shame. Only when our planet is showing signs of death and elimination do they finally seek help, but by then its usually too late to reverse the damage. I am so ashame of humanity as a whole and am disgusted with the fact that humanity only makes changes after such horrible disasters, events, and destruction of our planet occurs.
