We love our little dainty kiddies,
Full of life, so pep and skittish,

We can’t help but want to coddle,
And worry when their about to topple,

We niggle when it’s a tad nippy,
Yet they continue to skedaddle around so zippy,

We still adore them when their snappy,
It’s almost as cute as when their happy,

We listen to their hoity toity halla baloos,
Because we know their hurly burly is so true,

They love to dress up all nifty and snazzy,
Be chirpy and whimsical,
Until their all frazzley.

They wheedle us into making rickety cubbies,
To us its just a sheet and two chairs,
But to them its namby pamby ritzy,
And it’s theirs,

It’s gorgeous to see them boogie woogie,
And know they have wallah of our eyes,
As they warble and totter, fall down and then arise,

We will remember everything about our little cuties,
Their favorite toy, teddy, blanky and booties,

The first time they gave us a smooch and a cuddle,
The first time they held a brolly and jumped in a puddle,

Their first step, hiccup, sneeze and giggly laugh,
Roly Poly tumble, and their very first bath,

As they grow up, and think were twaddling fuddy duddys,
We still look at them as our babies,
And remember their cheeks all cute and chubby,

We will continue to coddle,
And love our kiddies for life,
And before we know it,
They will be a husband or wife,

They will have their own little kiddies,
And we will be granny or pa,
And we will still continue to love them all,
Forever and ever.
