spreads ruby red upon the dirt…
at my feet.
Antiquated customs disguised as honor
take her breath away
men with jagged stones
gouged eyes, flesh open ,
lives broken,spirits broken,bones broken,
no sound could exit
to utter .So
to her silence,
have you forgotten?
I am your daughter,
I am your sister
I am your mother.
spreads deep ruby red over the world…
with her heart
in our hands.

Thank you for reading.
I am grateful to live in a part of the world and in a home, where I can speak out without imminent threat of injury or death.
It can still happen,as it does around us.
How I feel about opportunities in life ‘’ you use it or lose it’’.
Freedom of speech, choice,to move about freely in this world has to be perpetuated daily to exist. I use it to keep it and I keep it ,to pass it on.
with love R.B.,joy and peace.
