thank you,not one by choice I am afraid…water sprinkler some how
I think knocked it into the water and i found it like this…sadly i took a bnch of pictures and then realize it was still alive! omg i felt so bad,i mean It wasnt that long but geeze..so I lifted it out and put it in a safe place to dry….it lived for another day staying in a 5×8 area( guess too weak to fly far..then died.i had milk weed growing so maybe she had just laid her eggs…I thank ed her profusely for giving me such beautiful photos…bittersweet..but a lovely gift from her..

Yeh right…everything is bigger in America eh? “artist4peace” (and bigger again in Texas right :) Brilliant opportunity shot…what is so magnificent is that lots of people spray water droplets onto flowers before shooting the picture, but it is only the true artist who can think of doing this to a butterfly [and have it stay!!!]

oh dear me,I had the water sprinkler on in the yard and went out to move it and found this little one like this…it was a n opportune momment,i assumed it was dead ,but was not so took it out and put aside to dry…it lived a couple of more days but stayed close by…..it was a gift from the butterfly I feel…I’m not that savvy i am afraid..but thanks
