Thank you,it is a spiritual self portrait.I have a very mixed back ground Irish,Choctaw,Cherokee,Black on my mothers side…Jamaican,West Indian & French on dad’s side. and even though I grew up in a small rural town in Texas …I vividly remember staring at myself in bath room mirror at 5,getting down and going to my parents and saying ’’why wont y’all tell me the truth about being adopted,’cause I know I am Japanese! For years I had dreams as a Japanese woman that stopped only in the last 10.My only intent when i began this painting was to quench an incessant need paint ’’bubbles’’...and this is what happened in this one…also why I am VERY attached to my
’’ red bubbles ’’...connection. ooo whee,I guess I needed you to ask me that …eh? thank s! (c;Dalzenia
