After the last war has done its damage
After my child becomes a sage
After we set aside our differences
In my world, I whisper your name
Gentle breezes wipe clean fighters’ feelings
So intensely focused in wars gone by
Stirring pictures of discarded memories
Snapshots in the wind may lie
