Looking ahead sometimes means looking at things we rather not see. It’s much easier to look behind us and ponder where we’ve been. When I look ahead, I see the mountains that are in my path. But more than that, I see the zig-zag trail I must follow, around these trees, up that ridge, up the draw, and finally to the summit. Once on top, I feel I can look back. But today, that is something for later on. Now it’s time to move ahead, and up – just like every day. Here’s wishing that the mountains you climb are as beautiful as these in Sonora Pass, in California’s high Sierra. Take time to enjoy them.
Hi Ed Beautiful scenery the nearest things we have to mountains are hill, compared to these ! mind you, the Scot’s have some prety amazing ones and they are not too far away !
