Like a well rehearsed symphony, each year the river starts as a single drop of water from the snow high in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. It combines with other drops into creeks and streams, and eventually becomes the river. The river flows down the mountains and valleys on a one-way journey to its destination.
Like the river, we begin our lives alone. We combine with other travelers in businesses and corporations, eventually becoming an expert in this or that. We all move ahead through our lives until we reach our destination.
Given a choice, I am more a fan of the river than the corporation. I understand it. I prefer its open, honest and straightforward style. It felt good to be with the river again.
Stunning Ed !!! The words you write are so true to life But unlike the river we put obstacles in our way and the journey is harder , the river will either wash them away or simply go round them !
Hey George…Thank you, my friend. I wish I had thought of what you said about the river, but I didnt, so I gonna have to live with it. Lol. Thanks again. Enjoy the weekend!
