At around 10,000 feet above sea level, California’s Sonora Pass is one of the places I go to when I need to get away from life in the concrete jungle. The clean mountain air here has a scent of pine as it wisps its way across the high Sierra peaks. I think this is how God intended life to be – full of love. Isn’t it strange that we seem to live life in a fashion that is just the opposite – unhappy and tightly bound? For just one moment, slow down. Open your eyes. See your life for what it really is. Follow your heart, and you will appreciate the love that has been right in front of you all along. And then live your life in love. It is the only way.
