Northumberland
What a lovely land
Of castles and halls
and great broken walls
Where time stands still
along the great whin still
Lonely curlew calls forlorn
shy roe deer and her fawn
in the fields of flowers boulder round
marks some ancient battle ground
Countless trees and forests march
of sicka, scotch and larch.Twixt Tyne &Tweed-this indeed -NORTHUMBERLAND
