lincoln, a very special man for me….over the years i have done close to 23 portraits of him in paint and numorous digital creations……these days more than ever I feel compelled to share even more of him with the world and I leave you with one of his quotes that always left me a good impression…..

the vintage photo is of some of the first african american slaves that fought in the civil war on the union side……many of them were enlisted and shipped from out of new york…..with no doubt they helped to turn the tides…..
