Artist's Description

For openers i want to thank all the people that took the time to leave a comment on the initial introduction to this latest painting. After viewing what I had photographed after a day of seeing them online I was not satisfied and took down the pieces. Im sure all painters understand it is not easy to photograph our creations "especially if one is not a photographer and I can assure you I am not…….anyway I just want to say that Im reposting this latest painting with some detail shots to follow, I thank all my friends and affiliates always and all ways for their considerations and support, gallo

Painting is a very personal passionate experience, the painter exposes their “soul-are” energy in a way where they are constantly refueling themselves, if others enjoy this experience that is good, if not that is fine, we are all creators, our only other option is to destroy.

I believe completely in what arteology calls eARTh art from the heART.
Without prolonging with too many words I should much rather spend my time “pushing paint” as I am fond of saying and as all creators just like to share “more of what I feel and less than that of what I see”.

Now that being said this painting I call reaching for raven.
48 inch square acrylic and oil with pumice and impasto in certain pigments to add dimension. I also applied some very nice metallics like silver stainless steel bronze and copper as well as a gold foil leaf effect.

Reaching for Raven is what arteology defines as a “prayer painting”…….you could say it’s a mind exercise where every detail is more understood by myself but ironically using the passion to just show symbols that I have found over the years with all my paintings that children always see.

My opinion….it is not necessary to understand, but it is to “feel”.

Arteology believes in polarity………
