If I owned the building I’d be a little miffed. Are you becomming an urban artist Lesley? :)
Lesley Hill replied
Max, this Lane is covered in interesting pieces of art! I really do love it! If you closely you will see light boxes along the building!
Urban Artist? Maybe!
Nala
Well its not that bad . . it could be full or rubbish and ugly tag’s at least something went it to this . . nice image
Lesley Hill replied
Alan, yes, it is much cleaner than it used to be years ago and a bit safer as more people seem to walk down here now!
ian taylor
why be miffed MAXIMUS some of this urban art is good.
great shot lesley
Lesley Hill replied
Thanks Ian! As an art teacher, I do feel that this style of art has a place but the destruction of property should not be an outcome of the work! It is a dilemma! I also find the tagging and scribble over pieces to be so disrespectful!
Denis Dalby
Such a lively mix Lesley.
Lesley Hill replied
Thanks Denis, a bit to look at in this, very busy. =)

“Photographers do this for a living, every single day—they point their lenses toward every single corner of our world and somehow make the mundane mesmerizing through their artistic eye. It’s all a matter of being aware of your surroundings and realizing that there are some really amazing and interesting things to look at, even if it may just be something so simple as a wall being covered up by paint.”

Hi Stephen, this is a fantastic quote! I really like the way Ward has put, what I think a lot of artists think, into such succinct words! Thank you very much for sharing this with me. I am going to share it with some of my students, if you don’t mind! =]
Rosina Lamberti
WOW!
Lesley Hill replied
Thanks Rosina, you are very kind!
