After thirty years of professional photography, I now work as an artist with a preference for vintage and large format cameras. I also enjoy the romance of the darkroom as many of my favourite works have been created there, but these days the digital world is taking over for better or worse.

It is also nice to think that we can all travel to exotic places to be inspired, but sometimes the best places, spaces and people are right there in front of us. That is not to say that I would turn down a holiday to somewhere exciting!

I have a preference for black and white images, but many of my photographs have been created in colour – the difference is a personal thing. The best way for me to explore my artistic choices is to get out there and create some art!
