I am a Mixed media Artist . I live in Ocean County NJ with my family and pets.
I became interested in Altered Art about 5 years ago. When i saw my firsr Altered Book I was intrigued. Here I could take my love of painting, photography and books, mix it all together and make something incredible! What a recipe!
II tend to focus on people and animals as subject matter. I am not a realist painter nor am i an abstract artist. I am interested in telling a story with whatever medium and materials are available to me at the time.
I have had the good fortune to be published in Somerset Magazine last year. I also participate in art & craft shows in the area.

I worked on this today. It started out as an experiment using crayon wax…a nice alternative to beeswax, just not as transparent. I am in the process of completing an altered book i began last year foe an exhibit in one of our Public Lbrary’s bookcase display. I share the space with an artist friend of mine. We thought this would be a good venue for people to see outr Altered Books.
