Hello & Welcome …. My name is Naomi Searl. I live on the West Coast of Canada, Vancouver Island. I am a self taught artist whose hands are kept busy daily with creating, well, at least that’s the goal.

At this time and season of my creative adventure I am exploring the medium of collage and mixed media but do keep my paint brushes and acrylics close by. I prefer a spontaneous and intuitive creative experience, drawing on whimsy and a childlike quality to express myself. Things just tend to go in that direction.

My goal is to create with color exuberance, expressing joy and passion, stirring up smiles, playfulness and a brightness with some touches of softness around the edges.

I also love gardening and taking pictures of food, flowers and the little everyday attachments we hold dear and are fond of.
