Born Melbourne Australia, to a large family. I first dabbled in oil pastels in school which led to my first ‘sales’ selling pictures of roses to friends. Being self taught I have tried most mediums but find lately that I preffer to use acrylics and play with wax as a base to add texture and an unpredictable effect.
I am an implusive artist and it isn’t uncommon for me to paint in the kitchen while the dinner is cooking away. Which my family has been fantastic and very patient about.
Working in a community Gallery with some wonderful artists has broadened my horizons and opininons of the art world. I am inspired by ‘Vangough’ and I admire Anthony Greens works (worth a look).
