Beautiful painting. I like it when artists paint what is real in their lives in this era…otherwise how will things like this be preserved for history in a way that’s interesting to look at and says something about our world? There is beauty in ordinary things, at least when painted as well as this!

Making the ordinary extraordinary… Like Cindy said! I know the coast and can smell the seaside just looking at this :D
Thank you also Virgosun. I was toying with the idea of putting a pelican on the light but I wanted it to be about the pole so left it as is. It has a coast feel about it for sure.
