I was born in 1946 in the then small town of Irvine in north Ayrshire Scotland and learnt how to paint from my father using oils on canvas. I have been been painting since I was 40 years old.
I now paint using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is the paintbrush. I use traditional painting techniques to create sometimes impressionistic, realist, or abstract painting.
My passion for art has produced a varied portfolio. Greatest passion though is for horses and figurative work.
