The Bride
All eyes they follow with ceaseless stare
A beautiful bride both young and fair
Long flowing gown and veiled hair
Her necklace gleams on shoulders bare
A new branch on the family tree
The bride moves now from she to we
While single men sadly agree
There’s now one less fish in their sea
Her single days are now all done
Today she gives herself to one
The man she loves, her new husband
For better, worse, for the long run
This digital painting was done of our beautiful daughter, Stephanie, at her wedding. The wedding was at the Denver Botanical Gardens. She makes quite a lovely bride, and the groom is truly a very lucky man! :)
