A conceptual fractal artwork portraying twin white dwarf stars being drawn together, each one pulling the other apart as gravity pulls them to their inevitable union. As they approach one another their combined mass and gravity begin to form a black hole, tearing the fabric of time and space. The spectrum of light is halted in it’s tracks as a new black hole forms it’s event horizon.

The fractal artwork was rendered with ChaosPro 3.3. The gradient was created with the ChaosPro gradient editor that is packaged with the program. The two stars were painted into the finished fractal using Photoshop. The stars were the only post-processing done to the fractal image.
