My abstract paintings often blend timeless design inspired by ancient cultures with contemporary design elements of intense colors and bold values.
My love of art began at a young age, while touring the Art Institute of Chicago and reading many books on the arts of ancient cultures. I studied at the Chicago-area Evanston Art Center and various school and community courses. More recently, I have taken a variety of drawing and painting classes in the University of California – San Diego’s visual arts extension program.
