Jackie's House by © Bob Hall

Here is another shot of Jackie’s house. This old house gives me tons of ideas for pictures. I really think I found a gold mine of captures with this place.

Concerning Jack: He had a motorcycle accident that left him mostly incapacitated and had to be relocated to a home conducive for proper care. His accident happened at a location called Eaton Crossroads, Loudon County, not far from Knoxville. After the move, we lost touch with the family.

As an artist I enjoy painting and photographing segments of rural life. Country living became a new world for me back in the sixties when we moved from Chicago, Illinois to East Tennessee. I want to capture what I now see before country living vanishes… at least in my area!

I bet this old house could tell a few tales, Bob !!!
    Great capture !

  • It still is George, lol! I love old buildings like this. When I traveled to the old farm area, I was elated to find this old house still here. Looking at it brought back good memories of my ancient of days. Thanks buddy!!!

I love old homes like this that were built before the days of stamp ’em out mass production as these older structures are so full of character and stories to tell. Great capture and very well done!

  • Good way to put it Vivian. I agree 1000%! If age builds character, than I have more now than I used to have, but not as much as I’ll gain in years to come (good Lord willing), lol! Thanks for the visit and thoughtful comment!!!

Memories of our sweet past is a special thing!

  • I agree Vivian!!! I easily recall the good and fun times, as a kid should. Not everything was good and not everything was fun, but those times are overshadowed by what was good and fun. I guess I can say that my past has molded me to be more of a, glass is half full person verses the glass is half empty person. Thanks for the additional comment and wise insight!!!

Different angles, different times of the day….. yeah you still have tons of shots left.

  • Thanks Jim!!! Many pics are conducive for uploads (with some tweaking, of course) and some aren’t. That’s what I like about digital cameras, take 100 pictures, use the best shots, and then delete the memory card, lol!
