There’s nothing like the aura of a spent evening on the grounds of an old country church.

My wife took this shot of the Macedonia Church located on Buttermilk Road, just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.

As an artist I enjoy painting and photographing segments of rural life. Country living became a new world for me back in the sixties when we moved from Chicago, Illinois to East Tennessee. I want to capture what I now see before country living vanishes… at least in my area!

    Knock Knock any one in.!

  • Ha, ha, ha, surely I hope not… at least there wasn’t when I looked in the side window and saw displaced pews and other non-people stuff. If there had been movement or response to my peering in, I guess I would have high-tailed it out of there, lol! Behind this little church is a cemetery; and, I have captures of it that I’ve not uploaded on RB yet. Funny comment Tracy, thanks!!!
