Stars of Heaven

Stars of Heaven

This is our Frankie. He passed on a few weeks ago. He was only 10 years old. It’s always very sad to lose young ones. I painted this imagining he is now in heaven filled with beautiful stars.

They come into our hearts and then go, it seems, too quickly…..and how special they all are. I have ten of them right now. This painting is so beautiful…such a special tribute to your Frankie. What wonderful work you do.

This is such a wonderful painting. I am so sorry Frankie is gone. I am such a crybaby. When I read a book about a dog or cat and I know the he/she will die in the end…I cheat. I read the last chapter first and than I start at the beginning of the book and read until I get to the last chapter and stop there. That way my last memory is a happy, healthy, frisky cat or dog. What a nit wit I am. That’s a lot of trouble to go to to fool myself and of course it never really works. And then comes real life…. You cant cheat in real life. But with a beautiful painting like you did of Frankie there isnt quite really a last chapter.

    Great Work!

  • artbyakiko replied

I am also a fan of those books and movies about animals that have a happy ending. Sad ones haunt me for days and weeks, so I always try to avoid them. All animals should be happy all the time!
redqueenself, thank you so much for visiting my Frankie and leaving such wonderful comments!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Frankie. My Snowball will be 10 this year and I shudder to think that I could loose her as such a young age. Your artwork is just wonderful and soulful. How handsome he was and I will just have to remember him that way and hope that he is running around happy and free on the other side of Rainbow Bridge.

  • artbyakiko replied

Marjorie thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Yes I also believe he is very happy with his mom on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
