Another morning of justice and crime

I don’t know where I went last night
But I feel the need to write

It always begins in the early morn
The voices, the taunts and scorn

I struggle to keep away my anger
The prejudice hurts like danger

Subconscious processes swarm and switch
While all of humanity I spell to bewitch

For what I feel is not anything at all
When I consider those who’ve had greater falls

But why are these feelings so utterly strong?
As I hear that one repetitive song

It’s just the news
Fatally skewed
