yeah we gotta drive places at times… specially if you are a family with kids… as much as I like to scream green economy, we aint gonna get anywhere fast until we stop using these things…
I want a prius, but they are out of our price range, and even if we got the money how expensive would they be to maintain when hardly anybody has them…

Not sure what a prius is?? I just got a new company car – and the company decided to go diesel – i have to drive around for a living – so i have no real choice but at least it’s diesel and not petrol! (and its a cute little suv as a bonus!)…
prius is the hybrid electric/petrol car that Toyota (i think) have out… the Queensland government have a number on ‘trial’ in their fleet…
but… there aren’t many of them around…
I used to drive for work too, how hot an bothered I used to get up here on a humid day, sales sucks!!!
We have a diesel that we bought years ago thinking we could perhaps convert it to bio-diesel but that’s not gonna happen… we are thinking of selling it at the moment…
