I read the other comments and yes it is full of energy. Six thousand horses worth of energy. And it carries about four thousand gallons of diesel fuel. Locomotives are the original hybrids. They have an electric motor on every axle and the diesel engine turns a generator. It weighs over 200 tons. Notice the two little round plugs just below the walkway in the front. The one on the right side is red. It is labeled “Dummy”. Surely that is the last thing seen when hit by a train.
