Shorham Airshow 2009

The importance of this aircraft as a unique and tangible part of our national heritage has been officially recognised through appearances at high profile events such as the 1994 official D-Day commemorations, the VE Day flypast over the City of London in 1995 and most recently, in 2005, when she flew down The Mall and over Buckingham Palace during the VE Day 60th Anniversary commemorations.

WOW this is a brilliant capture of this great aircraft, I was unaware that Shormam could take hevey aricraft, I thyought it was a private flying club,
Excellent shot
The Airshow mainly had flyins, as it shared the day with Bournemouth airshow. The biggest craft that the runway can hold is a Hercules !

Great shot Colin. Have been inside Sally B – think it was at Biggin Hill a few years ago. Very nostalgic and a great tribute to many brave young men.
