What a neat shot this is! Wonderful effect and a beautiful scene. I had a book from our local library recently written by a lady and her husband, who bought a longboat and lived on it for 7 or 8 years, travelling most of England’s waterways. A great read. Peter

Oh how I’d love to be on that narrow boat enjoying the tree-lined banks of the river and enjoying the peace that has to be experienced to be fully appreciated, just love these boats and only wish we had more opportunities to enjoy them in the southwest, Tiverton has a couple and I’ve enjoyed a few trips there over the years, wonderful Colin,

Is this a canal?? We still have the remains of a lovely canal that runs through Georgetowne, in DC, and up thru parts of Maryland. The tow path is a great bike-riding spot … your lovely image reminds me of it!!
