I like your wicker chair, Tony. I remember sitting on a chair similar to this one at 901… However, i do not see the little nails!
and now really, how did you do this.
You’re right – I erased all the nails – but I’m certain that if we were ever to actually be able to sit on it – it would rip our jeans every bit as much as the one at 901. As to how I did it? Well I’ll have to check and see… Hold on…

I began in Apophysis 3D with a fresh slate. I created 6 transforms. Transform 1 being linear – weight 3 Transform 2 being scry – weight 30 Transform 3 being a smallish julian – weight 10 Transform 4 being a smallish blur – weight 0.001234 Transform 5 being julian – weight 50 Transform 6 being small linear3D and linear – weight 7.5 Final Transform being fan2 and juliascope - Moved and situated all the transforms in their first positions so they resembled a nifty flower thingy, then spun out the post processing transform by transform and moved them around and scaled until I got what I wanted… THEN I rendered it at 1200×842, filter 0.2, oversample 1, and 32 bit integers. - after that, I brought it into GIMP and cleaned up the extra pixels and things I didn’t want to see… - not sure if this is helpful – but I’m sure I could recreate it (heh – I’ve saved the transforms but I could even if I didn’t) if I had to.
