im diggin your digital series…..to me …..whats cool about all this 1s & 0s stuff…i get to work out color combos / composition / textures/ shadows…quickly before i paint…..now what has happened in this piece takes things one step further…….all the elements meld together/ it looks like a painted collage….now that / gets me off …..good work ….later/ rhett
Wow Rhett :) Thank you! This actually sprang from a combination of: a tee shirt design of mine and my avatar. I spent some 18 hours or so getting it to where I wanted it -
There is a certain amount of instant gratification though when working in the digital realm, being able to apply changes on a global scale, change out whole ranges of color on the fly. I love to paint though, and sometimes I’m actually feeling torn as to where should I spend my time :)
In the end, it all gets done… Thanks again for your thoughts. :)
A very true message. I like this one but for some reason it leaves me feeling disturbed. Almost like someone is screaming to be heard and never will be. It is a very emotional piece for me. Great work you have.
