Semblance of Order by

This piece is the start of a new experience for me. I’m usually drawn toward a much more structured abstraction. Also, the substrate is new for me. Hardboard. Very very smooth surface and SO wonderful to work with. The work is also a hybrid of “organic” and geometricity.

This piece is now a part of the personal collection of Katherine and Robert Burns!

Yes, is it even attainable? I wonder…..

  • Oh yes. A semblance is attainable – in that it only seems to be in order :) Thanks for looking Ruth :)

Love the layers and the composition! Great title, since we fool ourselves into thinking everything is always in order. And if it should be, what makes us think that is better? Excellent work!

  • Thank you Joanne! So true, I know I often can be fooled into thinking that way :)
