Two hot holes by

Steam holes from a underground hot spring in geothermal zone named Austurengjahver near the better known Krýsuvík geothermal zone.
I took a night trip there to catch it’s rich colors at sunrise. The geothermal zone is now in danger, because a power company wants to build a geothermal power plant there. I hope a picture like that, will help to stop those plans.

The environmental power lobby always seems to want to develop the very areas of the environment that the rest of us find special! Why?
