Waverley Railway Station, Edinburgh.
Sunday 14th February 2010.

This was just as it happened – a snapshot of a big advertising hoarding. No deliberate staging, no posing – I don’t know the people whose legs star here. No digital trickery later – except to crop and resize the image, to suit 6×4inch postcards.

OK, before cropping it did say something other than hop. I admit it. But I didn’t spot its comic potential at the time. I just felt the impulse to take a photograph.

They tell us “hop NOW” –
But why?They don’t say.
Maybe, let’s ask?
(Not just blindly obey).. ;-D
