real sky, real bird.
I was snapping tree-and-skyscapes: seeing birds pass and this bird coming into view, hoped (!) and managed to catch it aptly, so as to make my photo of the sky more interesting.
experimenting with effects as I often do..
in the negative of the image, I saw the bird became white and dove-like, and the clouds ominous now.. so the simple sunset view took on a new potential significance.
cropped to suit, re-enlarged (2x,2y).
first time I’ve gone from a skyscape to unplanned symbolic image this way.. it ‘just growed’.
it came, for me, at a time of turbulent moods, and brought me welcome encouragement.
