‘Corrosion is an eye through which Time looks back at us..’

This is one of a row of hooked bars bolted to the masonry beneath a stone bridge. I am not sure why they are there.

The bridge links the cemetery behind Ronaldson Grove to Halbeath Drive, Dunfermline. It is behind East End Park, the home football stadium of Dunfermline Athletic F.C. (‘The Pars’).
