Earl came, a wandering cat, to the Bowhill Community Centre, and adopted it as his home. He has lived here now for about 14 years. I think he looks young for his age.

Here he is beside the front steps.

He’s very sociable, and it’s clear he likes to keep a proprietorial eye over his domain!

In fact he has quite striking eyes. For a face-on shot of Earl, click here.

Impressive point of view and you really feel you are in the cats mind looking out of Earl’s eyes.

  • Earl behaved very helpfully for me that day. I had to take a series of shots quite quickly, and was well pleased when I checked the results.. to have found myself again operating in that favoured zone!

Great job of focusing mate… love how you zoomed us into his world by getting that low perspective. Just shows how seeking that special sweet spot makes the diff between a good shot and a massive one.
    Wicked take!!

  • yeah seized the odd moment and happily found myself in ‘the zone’ that day..
