I do a lot of foraging, salvaging and recycling ‘junk’ bits and pieces that I find on my travels.. travelling usually by train or bus.. Often, with my bike, and its improvised (golf-trolley) trailer.. Or on foot.
I liked the orange frame and bench of the shelter on the station platform as diagonals. Those stand for my (I am told) strikingly oblique view of life.
I had with me.. as usual.. extra garments and a bag of provisions (and books) and.. on this occasion.. most of a scrapped cable-drum that I’d just found..
itself stuffed with bags full of other bits and pieces I’d spotted and gathered on my way.
So this is a typical impression of me as you might meet me, in transit somewhere, oddly-but-happily-laden.
