I am proud to be a member of the random art movement
I love gathering (objects, facts, materials, experience…); visualizing a new combination; then transforming them into something unique to share.
This might be a poem or essay, an image, an animated sculpture improvised from recycled materials; decorative / functional work – home improvement, art or performance.
You see me here with the head of “Nessie”, sculpted by me (complete with rolling eyes) as mascot for a local girls’ soccer team. Nessie paraded, Chinese-dragon-style, in the opening ceremonies of the youth ‘World Cup’ held in Sweden.
This project was in cooperation with their school* art department.
(*Dunfermline Athletic Under-13s Girls’ Team; *Gothia 2007; *Woodmill High School).
I use a Sony Cybershot DSC-S730 camera and Serif 9 software for any image manipulation. Many of my photos though are unaltered, as there is already so much that’s wonderful to see – sometimes in odd places!
