Call me Cheryl! It’s my name, dammit! And on this night of frost and torpor, my creamy white fleshed globes are turgid, waiting, wanting, hoping for the prince of my dreams to come to my rescue. He must – oh he must! – or I shall be forever lost within the walls of the evil and nefarious villains castle keep!
June- first challenge
If it’s not the worst opening paragraph ever, it is, at least, the worst one I can consciously remember writing. Bleehhh!

:o) and such a ‘bad’ start to our competition. Well done.

If it’s bad, it’s best to be short and swift about it, methinks. Thank you for the comment, Prasad. I still have you in mind, by the way. It’s just that my computer has died again! I’m using my dad’s computer today because this is my actual work day.

I don’t think it’s that “bad”. Rather it’s much better, to say swift :))

Eeek! Oh no! But, it’s supposed to be bad! To me, despite that I wrote it, it’s bad like ‘Star Crash’ (a very bad movie) which was so bad that I had to keep watching it to see what other artistic atrocities they’d come up with.. If someone else wrote this, I’d want to see the rest of the book … and then I’d want to force my friends and family to read it. Turgid globes, indeed!
