There were two different girls I went to school with named Lisa. Oh, I suppose there might have been more, but only two that I know about.
They were very popular, blond, perky persons. One was more blond than the other, but was more studious, so that the other was the more perky.
I was not setting out to paint either of them. Yet, what emerged is, to my eye, a composite of the two. More serious than one, more dark than the other; those are obvious. There are other things, which I cannot quite define, which belong to one or the other of them.
