Hypothryoidism

Mind you, I have no idea if this means it affects hyperthyroidism, as well, but, during all that praying and researching, I read one very important thing that I forgot to share with anyone else, I think.

Aspartame is one of the very worst things on this planet for aggravating your thyroid and sending it all out of whack. I can’t remember where I read it, but, if I run into it again, I shall post the information.

This makes total sense to me, as since I’ve been in Arizona, I have been drinking more diet sodas, and when I started having problems to the point of it being unmanageable, I was drinking diet sodas and never the other kind, anymore, and that’s when they had fully switched to aspartame!

Also, hmm .. look at the statistics on fat little Americans, especially the women who try and try and just can’t lose weight. When did it become, as they say, epidemic?

Why, I believe that was after they took saccharine out of the diet sodas and put aspartame in it’s place. Wasn’t it? That was late 70’s, early 80’s… yep! That’s when!

Keep it in mind! I am not saying never have your favorite diet soda. I am, however, saying that moderation is, as always, a very good idea! I’m going to be backing off them and onto more water and unsweetened tea!

Yes, they are, but, I love them so! There’s something about the bubbles that helps me breathe better. Ah well!

Yes always go for the real thing – actually not a reference to diet coke as I dont like it, but to real, original stuff. Now theres me talking when im addicted to fizzy lemonade… mmm wonder if its got sacharin in it, prob yes… which is just as bad…. sigh

Nope! Saccharine is bad, but, it’s nowhere near as bad as aspartame I’ve read a lot about both. Can’t tell you what I read, but, I know it boils down to what I started this ramble with! lol

I used to love Coca Cola, but, the problem is – well, partly that I just don’t want that much sugar most of the time, and partly that I got used to it, coming out of Atlanta and then they startedgetting it from somewhere else, and then when they started getting it from Atlanta again, the formula had been changed. I’ve been told that Mexico is where to get it from, or maybe it was New Mexico, because that is where they still use real sugar. The rest of them were using that nasty corn syrup.
