Boo hoo hoo and Allons-y

I told off my favorite Scotsman. I don’t know how long it will be until he gets it, though; if he gets it! Strangely, he is still my favorite Scotsman, or, indeed, any man.

Just because you love someone, it doesn’t make them good for you!

Then, I went and retook the “Which doctor are you?” and, in celebration of the answer, I have looked up images of “myself” the 10th doctor.

It’s so nice to be a babe!

Although, to be fair, I love Jug Ears, too!

This is who I was, the first time I took the Quiz: the 2nd Doctor. Well, judging by the pants and general crazy appearance, that could be right! lol

There is one major problem that I can see with Doctor Who: there’s not enough! Especially of the new ones! It’s a good series, you know, that can make me forget, for a time, that Stargate SG-1 is off the air!

Back to said lovely Scotsman. Basically, I realized that I had been worrying about him, and then being patient with him, for so long that I bloody well forgot most of the fact that I was completely justified in feeling used, abused, ignored, and etc. Well, I snapped out of it! So … Oh, I wish I could fully explain it to you, because, for one thing, that would mean I fully understand it myself. Basically, I was made promises, then when they were not fulfilled, I was given excuses; then, it got worse. So ..

So, I still love him. Refer to top! (grin)

...........

Had to come back to fix a link, so, may as well add more!

i like the doc with the scarf he was my fav !!

  • Arletta replied

Yes, well, he was always the one I saw in advertisements, etc. but, strangely, not the one I actually saw in most of the shows that I ever saw – old or new. it’s a nice scarf, though! That’s what I know.

    Oh sweetie !!
I never actually saw the appeal in David Tennant, but this is a wayyyyyy cute selection- NICE xx

  • Arletta replied

I can see his appeal, but, only as the Doctor. I’ve seen wee clips of him as other things and I was not amused, impressed, turned on, or otherwise interested. Well, except for his video diary, where he was just himself. That was alright!

Two of my most fav bubblers- you being one and Lynette K are Doctor Fans WOW
I cant do Doctor Who for some reason, it may be that I was tramatised by daleks as
a child or it could also be that we had a “fanatic” called em Lillian I think her name was,
at school- she lived in her Tom Baker scarf all year and had autographs and stuff- she was a nice enough girl but when we went on field trips she’d turn into “mum” and say quaint things like “Well I’m off to wash my flower now”.
I wonder if that killed the Doctor fr me lol xxxx

  • Arletta replied

I’m off to wash my flower now … sounds distinctly kinky! But, yes, that could do it. I like Star Trek, too, but, there is something about the proximity of Trekkies that makes it unpalatable!

I guess I saw some of the older shows when I was a kid (when they were, consequently, newer shows than now); but, I had no idea who this person was or why they were showing them. Second movie stuff, from back when they used to show two or three movies in a row for the price of admission (plus cartoons!)
Otherwise, I havent’ seen them and I find them mostly painful to try. The newer shows, I love.

Don’t think I would qualify myself as a fan, though – never wanted anyone’s autograph or their picture up on my wall (lyrics maybe, but not picture), or studied their biographies intently, or tried to dress at all like them unless it was only because the dressing style was actually good, or etc. And, I certainly don’t go out and buy the little toys and go “OH! That blue police box! What an allegory for …” or whatever.

I do like Sci Fi, though, and I like weird, and I like silly – so, there you go! I love the new Doctor Who, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, I used to love Quantum Leap, just started watching Sliders as I had a prejudice against the main star. Jerry McConnell, I think, is his name. Loved Babylon 5, for a while, but, then I lost track. Oh, and the Man Who Fell To Earth.

Which is only a movie, but, it has David Bowie and when has that been a bad thing? Noticed the British version had David Bowie, but naked, too. That was a strange, strange sight. Not bad, just odd. I’ve never actually seen a man whose genitalia was as wide as he was, before! lol I was like ‘How the heck does that man walk?” I’d think he’d pitch over on his face, even trying.

I did not love it for that reason – but, I did learn that skinny naked redhead men singing like David Bowie, wavering guns about and chasing women, is far sexier than it should be!

Why would anyone be washing their flower?

LOL- Now I did dig Quatum Leap- My Phil likes Trek, Blake 7, Lex, Farscape etc, so Sci Fi is always on in the background somewhere or other.
Geez I dont remember David Bowies bits, might need to revisit that one, but he is quite an alluring man.
The washing of the flower undoubtably needs doing but hey, too much info and tooo flowery an expression ::::))))) kinda freaky xx
Oh I used to work in a Comic/Sci Fi store many moons ago, maybe thats why I switch off now. Its true the cliche about attracting many “geeky fan boy” admirers with girls in comic stores- I like to think I was beating them off with a stick, but usually a raised eyebrow would send them scurrying behind the back issue unit. hehe xxxxxx

blag! you mean that really is what she meant? Gross! I thought that was just my twisted little mind trying to telll me things and she was a nerd who liked to clean the garden or soemthing Bleg aacckkkk … You poor, poor lady!

David Bowie . yes .. though I feel as if I am slightly profaning him by mentioning him with thoughts of overly-informative weirdos dancing in my head. blaggggggg

You know, no .. why in the heck would anyone announce that? Why? That’s someone with a highly inappropriate home life, and/or in need of meds, or something! Bleccccghhh!

I heard from said lovely Scotsman He told me off for writing him bitchy emails for him to find when he gets home from hospital. Otherwise, nothing resolved.

I’m not sure if this is good or bad. I am sure if he ever tells me he is off to wash his flower, I shall never speak to him again!

  • AnitaInverarity

    AnitaInverarity

    LOL- Bleccccccccghhhhhh indeed.
Oh lovely Scotsman still playing silly buggers, I’m sure he’ll be grovelling once he’s licked his wounds like most men xx
