They Just Keep Coming

I have little room
These days
In my small red house on the lake, on the bluff, on the edge
For fools

Yet they keep coming
Knocking themselves out
On the stairwell, on lightfittings and table corners

Or losing themselves
In pitch black night panics, in pretence
In the bottle

Its a lean house of tricks this place
And its game’s edges

Please…no really
No need to take off your shoes

They Just Keep Coming

Artist's Description

This is not about love (for a change) or sex, or passion, joy, or loss. I just think that sometimes people are way too confused and confusing…and wonder to myself how it ever got this way and what it takes to change…
