This (far left) cup has been travelling around the world – who knows where it is now. Here (an old rectory in Glebe, Sydney). I’ve tried to create a disparate collection of cups (different backgrounds, histories, journeys or purposes) while they have a core similarity, connection or raison d’etre.
This is fun… but for whatever reason I can’t help but feel the teapot is somehow surrounded as some sort of tea-fuelled siege. Or perhaps I’m just in a weird headspace right now. Either way, its a beautiful image.
A ‘ground attack’ maybe…lol. Soldiers or tea parties separated the boys from the girls haha…Cheers Alex. It’s been an absolute hoot :)
I love the whimisical feel of the toys and the other props juxtaposed againt the rustic, run down background. Great photo. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
