Excellent use of available lighting. There’s a tension in this composition that really works.

Great image…I love it!

It looks as a waiting room when people wait for hours..
There is kind of silence too, but something “suffocating” too :)
fabricedeloor
wonderful, i love it!!
MissKristy
I don’t know why, but I find something quite sinister in this..like there might be a head in the bag or something muhahaha Hmm..tells you something about the way my mind works I suppose. Love the colour.
midzing

Pirostitch

MissKristy, I agree! It’s very suspicious. Just waiting for a skeletal Thing to seize that guy’s ankle and drag him down into the deepest darkest depths… then there’s a burp and the sneaker is spat out. Would serve him right for having his feet on the chair.
Um. Robert, Robert is that foot attached to anyone you know?
Robert Knapman
Heheheheheh…he

Thaks everyone – cool comments. And yeah this is precisely what I saw and was going for – the something that makes you go ummm something not quite right here…there’s a clash a ‘tension’ as you say David, and I wanted to make it palpable and almost sureally menacing. It seems to have worked. Love it! .)
Oh yep, I confess, leg / fot / show attached to someone very close to me… :)
Robert Knapman
That was leg / foot / shoe by the way…
Empress
very close ... well, still serves you right.

Robert, don’t you know it’s not polite to put your feet on the chair? :)

the light is special in this shot and the muted colours work to make a simple subject more than effective.
